Meet NJ Snake Man
Steve Lengen, the NJ Snake Man, is a New Jersey native who was born and raised in Bridgewater. He started keeping snakes at the age of 4. His love for snakes developed over a lifetime of exploring the outdoors. After spending 3 years providing volunteer programs for NJ Fish and Wildlife with his science teacher and herpetology mentor Mr. Gerald Wronski, the NJ Snake Man opened the doors of his business in 2008.
Steve is passionate about using engaging and interactive experiences to impart knowledge. He is also an entrepreneur and business mentor. Today, he lives with his wife in Sussex County, New Jersey where they love spending time outdoors with their four children, who are actively involved in raising and caring for the collection of snakes and can’t wait until they can help their dad with NJ Snake Man programs.

"...My son will be thrilled! After you did his last party, his passion for snakes has continued to grow. He talks about that party all the time. He wants to be a herpetologist and got his first pet snake this year!"

"...great job of presenting the snake show. It¹s so much fun to see on an annual basis. People who are afraid of snakes prior to the show get the opportunity to gently handle snakes and have a new appreciation of them by the end of the evening. It¹s great!"
- Dr. Alison Mostrom PhD, Associate Professor of Biology at the University of the Sciences
